Lake Oconee's Favorite Places To Eat

My Go-To Restaurants at Lake Oconee

Welcome to Lake Oconee, where fun is right around every corner. Lake Oconee is famous for its luxurious lake life, superb accommodations, and even its exceedingly delicious eateries. Below I have listed a few of the best local restaurants that you must try during your visit:

Da Carrados Ristorante ($$)

Carrados offers the ultimate Italian experience. From their delicious Italian cuisines, to their quick and friendly service, this is one restaurant the locals are crazy about.

When Carrados stops by your table to ask about your meal, tell him Kathy Daniel sent you.  My favorite is the pizza.

The Silver Moon ($$)

The Silver Moon is one of the local’s favorites. This charming little steak and seafood joint has an extremely friendly staff with very reasonable prices.

You will want to get there early as to get a seat.  It's not unusual to see a line forming on Friday night around 4:45 to get in.

Café 44 ($)

Café 44 is home to scrumptious breakfast and lunch, as well as fresh baked pastries and coffee (all at an affordable price)!

With free wi-fi and great wonderful food Cafe' 44 make a great place for a business meeting.

Sweet Kneads ($)

Sweet Kneads is a charming café and bakery with extremely friendly employees who will always greet you with a warm smile, and provide you with delectable, home-made meals.

Locals know the true heart to Sweet Kneads is their chicken salad and you can purchase to go!  Don't forget to take home one of their world famous Black Bottom pies.

Bone Island Grill ($$)

Bone Island Grill

Bone Island Grill is one of the most popular restaurants at Lake Oconee. Their casual atmosphere, along with their excellent food, and reasonable prices are just a few of the reasons that their customers are in love with this place...not to mention the bottomless salads.

Georgia Butts ($)-

Georgia Butts is famous for its southern charm, quick service, and delicious southern food.  Best pulled pork on the lake.  Speaking of Lake Oconee...Georgia Butts is soon to be lake front!  Can't wait to be able to pull up by boat and grab some lunch.

El Sitio ($)-

El Sitio is one of the most popular Mexican restaurants in the Lake Oconee area. The prices here are super affordable, the food is delicious, and the employees are exceedingly pleasant.

All of these restaurants are top-notch and definitely deserve a visit if you are ever in the area. Even visiting one of them during your trip can transform your delightful experience on Lake Oconee, to one you will never forget!

Please feel free to comment below with your favorite dishes or if you would like to add your favorite Lake Oconee restaurant to my list.

As always, if I may be of service, please contact me by email or phone.
