Why Kathy
I was born and raised in the Lake Country area and have had my real estate license for over 30 years. My only time away was spent in Athens while I attended the University of Georgia…Go DAWGS!!
Having grown up here, I am exceptionally familiar with Lake Oconee and surrounding regions, and that knowledge is an important part of the home or land selling or home and land purchase process. It is a great comfort to prospective clients to learn about the locale whether it is reference to schools, church, dining, medical care or entertainment opportunities.
My husband, Randy (also a local) and I have lived in Madison, Eatonton and Greensboro in Great Waters, Harbor Club, Reynolds Lake Oconee and The Landing to name a few. You see…he is a builder and his profession coupled with mine equals many moves over the last 38 years.
We have four sons, two are married and therefore we have two wonderful daughter-in-loves, five grandchildren and two grand dogs! We love entertaining our family and in our opinion there is no better place to make family memories than Georgia’s Lake Country.
Living at the lake is a lifestyle and it is important for you - my potential new client to consider the type of home you want or property you desire – whether it is an existing structure or a new build. There are many different alternatives on the market.
We both know that a home is not a home because of its room dimensions or the color of the walls. I love what I do and therefore don’t refer to it as a job! My desire is to get you the most for your property that I list and the best deal on the property you purchase. I am very laid back in my approach and will not bombard you with texts, phone calls and emails however I am very responsive to your questions. I will listen to what you want, I am here to help you and I will work very hard with you. We will become a team during the process and for me there is nothing more rewarding than helping you with your next step in life…working as a team we will be successful!
